The March 0135-0174-0300 MDXT-3 is a sealless centrifugal magnetic drive pump designed for reliable chemical recirculation, chemical transfer, and general fluid-handling applications.
Its magnetic drive design eliminates the need for a conventional shaft seal, helping reduce leakage potential and maintenance requirements. The pump is powered by a 115V, single-phase air-cooled motor rated for continuous duty.
At 60 Hz, the MDXT-3 can deliver a maximum flow of 8.5 GPM and a maximum head of 19 feet. At 50 Hz, it provides up to 7.9 GPM with a maximum head of 13.1 feet. The pump features a 1/2-inch FPT inlet and a 3/8-inch FPT outlet for integration into compatible process systems.
The standard wet-end construction includes polypropylene housings and impeller, a Buna-N O-ring, and ceramic shaft, thrust washer, and magnet components. It is designed for a maximum internal pressure of 50 PSI and liquid temperatures up to 190°F (87°C).
The MDXT-3 is not self-priming and requires flooded suction. It should not be operated dry because the pumped liquid provides lubrication for internal components.
