Its magnetic drive design eliminates the need for a conventional shaft seal, helping reduce leakage potential and routine seal maintenance. The hermetically encapsulated motor allows the pump to operate fully submerged in compatible liquids or externally in open-air systems.
Powered by a 115V, single-phase, 50/60 Hz motor, the 1A-MD-1/2 delivers up to 3 GPM maximum flow and approximately 4.6 feet of maximum head at 60 Hz. At 50 Hz, performance reaches approximately 2.3 GPM with a maximum head of 3.3 feet.
The pump features 1/2-inch OD inlet and outlet connections. Its standard wet-end construction includes polypropylene housings and impeller, Buna-N O-rings, a carbon/Teflon thrust washer, and a 316 stainless steel shaft.
The 0115-0007-0200 can handle up to 50 PSI internal pressure and liquid temperatures up to 190°F (87°C) in open-air operation or 160°F (71°C) when submerged.
This compact pump is suitable for fresh water, salt water, mild chemicals, circulation systems, cooling applications, OEM equipment, and other low-flow fluid-handling installations.
The pump is not self-priming and requires flooded suction. It should not be operated dry because the pumped liquid provides lubrication for the impeller and internal components.
